Sput-Sput-Sput-Sprrrrmmmmm
So after cleaning up the bike, draining the old gas, the oil in the transmission, the fork oil, and learning what's known as a points system in mechanics, something very few of the SAIT or U geers can claim to have a working knowledge of, cleaning the spark plugs, and making a list of the parts that need to be replaced (not much, just the bar grips, and the plug boots and...one other thing I've forgotten) then replacing the fork and transmission oil, figuring out the propper ratio of synth oil to gas (100 CC to 4 gallons, thank-you-very-much) we managed to get the sucker to roll over for us. the plugs need to be changed in order for the thing to actually run, but other than that it's good to go. Talked about high and low siding, how hi siding is always a "walk it off" event... about stuff with my dad. was good. I enjoyed it. We'll be taking it out to the track in two week's time.
the difference between being and not being on T is like the difference between not being plugged up and being horribly constipated. I'll explain that later.
I'm going to bed. I have to work again tomorrow. For a woman who's nickname at the branch is 'the queen bee' and who is almost worse than Francis ever was. *shudder* this week cannot end fast enough. 12.07.2006 - 00:11 <<< - >>> |
