I am tired of being at odds with you.
I am tired of competing with you
I am very, very tired of your insults and of getting in trouble when I return the blow. I am no less of a person than you, just because I had to take an extra semester of highschool to catch up on what I missed while in the hospital. My not going directly into post secondary says nothing of my intelligence, nor does it show anything of yours that you did. Is it because you feel threatened by me? Please don't. You are intelligent, you have an amazingly sharp wit, you are very talented artistically, and have a beauty all your own. You are just as good a person as I am.

Do you harbor bitterness because "I got the girl"? Well you've had quite some time to deal with this fact, and to mend your wounds. Plus, if I remember correctly, you were interested in someone else at the time that I captured her fancy.
Or, is it because I betrayed your bestfriend? She has moved on, I wish you could too.
I wish we still had the relaxed friendship that was there when our relationship was just budding.
I wish I didn't have to think these things.
